Makore Acoustic Guitar Back and Side Set

This Acoustic Guitar back and side set is resawn and bookmatched from the best Grade of Quartersawn Makore. It has beautiful color variations with a pronounced straight ribbon grain. Makore is an African wood with a Reddish brown color sometimes referred to as African Cherry. It is more like Mahogany in its tonal characteristics weight and durability. It has been carefully selected for vertical grain and little run out, making it ideal for Guitar making. It is surfaced clean to 0.14” so you can do final sanding to your own thickness for the sides. The back is two bookmatched pieces at least 8.5” wide and 22” long The sides are two bookmatched pieces at least 5” wide and 32” long
